Misspellings aside, there is also a move afoot to update a sidewalk ordinance which currently only provides that

Deteriorated curb and sidewalk must be replaced prior to any scheduled road reconstruction activity or prior to the sale or transfer of the property as part of the Borough’s Certificate of Occupancy permit.

According to the Reporter, the updated ordinance could give way to more frequent inspections and enforcements from the code officer.
